A Retrospect
Launching Journey: Affirming women’s fullness in identity and mission
- 1997: A book "A Passion for Fullness" was published, calling churches to restore the equal dignity and partnership of men and women in Christ.
- 2001: Fullness In Christ Fellowship was founded.
- 1998-2006: Regional fellowships for women ministers were established in northern and southern California, as well as an annual joint retreat.
- 2009: Registered as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Outward Journey: Abounding in holistic missions
- 2010-11: Our first missionary was sent to Cambodia to establish Pleroma Home for Girls, taking in and serving girls who were sexually abused and trafficked.
- 2012: FiCF's Hong Kong office was established to support the Cambodia Ministry.
- 2015-18: The following projects were established: Pleroma School for Girls, Pleroma Community Center, and Pleroma Home for Women.
- 2022: Pleroma's secondary school for girls was built.
Inward Journey: Aspiring to a transformed spiritual life in Christ
- 2017: "Spiritual Formation Ministry" was established. A property in Hayward was purchased to serve as the "Fullness in Christ Center" and for retreat purposes.
Statement of faith
- We believe the whole Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the Word of God and the final authority for all Christian faith and life.
- We believe the Triune God is the only true God, the Creator and Ruler of heaven and earth. Jesus Christ the Son, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, died on the cross as an atonement for our sins and rose again on the third day. He ascended into heaven and will return to establish a new Heaven and Earth. God the Father prepared the Salvation, the Son accomplished it and the Holy Spirit executes it.
- We believe that human beings, both male and female, are created in the image of God, but in Adam we are all sinners in need of God’s salvation. Only by faith in Christ can we be justified and receive eternal life.
- We believe the church is the body of Christ. Christ is the head of the church. In Christ all people regardless of race, class, or gender receive the same spiritual inheritance and the same calling to faithfully use their gifts and resources to build up God’s Kingdom.
